The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, in cooperation with the Regional Capacity Development Center for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia (TSC-KCAM), held a workshop in Bishkek on financial programming and macroeconomic analysis for Kyrgyz Republic government agencies. Specialists from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the National Statistical Committee and the National Bank took part, focusing on financial programming tools used to support macroeconomic analysis and coordinated economic policy development. The programme also included interdepartmental discussions of current macroeconomic issues and a panel on recent achievements in the country’s economic development, with participation from Deputy Chairman of the National Bank A. Kozubekov, Deputy Minister of Finance N. Akzholov, TSC-KCAM Director H. Fleurkemeyer and the IMF Resident Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic F. Talyshly.
