The Central Bank of Aruba published its June 2026 monthly tables, showing broad money increased by AWG 350.9 million during the month to AWG 7.72 billion, 19% above its June 2025 level. The monthly rise reflected AWG 358.7 million in net domestic money creation, while net foreign assets declined slightly by AWG 7.8 million to AWG 4.61 billion. Claims on the private sector rose by AWG 161.3 million in June to AWG 4.94 billion, driven mainly by a AWG 148.6 million increase in claims on enterprises. Stay-over visitor numbers increased 13.4% from a year earlier in June and 10.9% during the first half of 2026. Consumer prices rose 0.1% during the month and 2.4% year over year, while commercial banks reported a 27.8% capital-to-risk-weighted-assets ratio, a 61.5% loan-to-deposit ratio and a 34.9% liquidity ratio.
