The Montenegro Capital Market Authority invited stakeholders to the third international “Montenegro Financial Markets” conference, to be held on 16–17 September 2025 at the Hilton in Podgorica. The event is jointly hosted with the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Montenegro and is positioned around the development and transformation of financial markets. The two-day programme will cover corporate governance, bond issuance, digitalisation and the use of artificial intelligence in finance, the role of institutional investors, sustainable finance, and crypto markets. Day one focuses on regional experiences in capital market development, including corporate governance, companies’ transition from private to public status, and the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation. Day two turns to mobilising private capital, cryptocurrencies and blockchain, the impact of global economic developments on domestic markets, corporate bonds, and further development of market infrastructure, with speakers expected from domestic and international institutions and companies including the World Bank, IFC, Visa and Bloomberg Adria, as well as regional banks and exchanges.
