The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) has organized the 19th regular meeting of the Arab Committee for Credit Information, convening Arab central banks, monetary agencies and national credit information providers to advance dialogue on credit information systems. The AMF serves as Secretariat to the Committee, which is established under the Council of Governors of Arab Central Banks and Monetary Agencies. Membership includes directors and officials from credit information centers at Arab central banks and monetary agencies, as well as managers from licensed national credit information companies, with regular participation by the International Committee on Credit Reporting and other regional and international institutions. AMF Director General Fahad M. Alturki highlighted credit information systems as a core component of modern financial systems, supporting lending efficiency, risk management and financial inclusion in line with international best practices. The meeting is being held by videoconference over two days.
