The Panama Superintendency of the Securities Market has reminded issuers of registered securities that the annual 2025 supervision fee must be paid by no later than the last business day of May, in line with Agreement 3-2017. It also clarified that, under Agreement 2-2025, the requirement to submit the RP form for payment of supervision fees has been repealed. Billing is based on the financial statement reports each issuer submitted during the 2025 period through SERI on securities in circulation to the Issuers Directorate. Payment may be made by certified check or cashier's check payable to the Superintendency, by bank transfer, or through the point of sale terminal at its offices, which has been available since December 2025. Where payment is made by bank transfer, firms must first obtain the bank details from the Treasury Department and then send proof of payment, after which a PDF receipt will be issued by email once the funds are credited. Original receipts may also be collected from the authority's offices.
