The Angola Capital Markets Commission held the final roadshow of the Programa Emergentes (Emerging Programme) on 10 July 2025 in Luanda, aimed at introducing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to capital market funding opportunities by bringing them together with venture capital collective investment undertaking (OIC) managers and other potential investors. Hosted at the National School of Administration and Public Policies (ENAPP) and organised with partners including the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), Projecto Envolver, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Acelera Angola and collective investment undertaking management companies, the event featured presentations of business plans from eight selected companies, followed by questions and input from fund managers and institutional investors, including the Angolan Venture Capital Active Fund (FACRA) and FGC. CMC Executive Administrator Vasco Januário framed the programme as linking entrepreneurship support with financial inclusion and highlighted the role of technical guidance, specialised mentoring and direct investor engagement, while INAPEM Administrator Ana Celeste pointed to SMEs’ challenges and the programme’s focus on strengthening business skills and expanding access to investor networks.
