Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) president Roberto E. Silva delivered a presentation at an event hosted by the Institute for Business Development of Argentina (IDEA), setting out how the regulatory framework approved in 2025 is changing the capital markets rulebook, with a focus on digitalisation, tokenisation and simplification. He highlighted measures spanning the tokenisation regime, the streamlining and shortening of capital markets regulation, rules on private offerings, the automatic public offering regime, and the framework for Virtual Asset Service Providers (PSAVs). Silva also said the current CNV board has approved more than 100 regulations and described an ongoing effort to reduce and simplify CNV rules to make them more accessible and to remove obsolete requirements, while balancing investor protection with innovation.
