The Bank of the Lao has opened the second 2025 cohort of a state management training programme for mid-level managers at its Banking Institute, aiming to strengthen managers’ capability to implement government policy, laws and strategic plans in operational work. The programme runs for 10 days from 17 to 28 November 2025 and includes 31 department heads and deputy heads from units at the Bank’s headquarters and regional branches. The curriculum covers civil service and staff management, performance evaluation, leadership and governance, change management, staff training and development, civil servant ethics, drafting official documents, and planning and project management, alongside experience-sharing sessions with lecturers from relevant ministries.
