The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia reported that its Deputy Director General, Sok Sokunchivy, led a delegation to attend a public conference organised by QFMA themed “Opening Investing in the Future: accelerated digital transformation in capital markets”. The programme comprised three sessions covering the value proposition of Islamic finance and its role in capital market growth, empowering small and medium-sized enterprises and bridging markets, and market conduct and investor protection. The event brought together IOSCO members alongside representatives from international organisations, regulators and the financial industry.
