The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has published a policy statement amending its Financial Conglomerates Directive to align national requirements with the EU framework for the European Single Access Point (ESAP). The amendments transpose the relevant requirements of Directive (EU) 2023/2864 and are intended to ensure that certain information disclosed by Cyprus investment firms, asset management companies and alternative investment fund managers that are part of a financial conglomerate is made available on ESAP, the EU’s centralised digital access point for financial and sustainability information.
