The Financial Conduct Authority has announced that the High Court, in a judgment dated 19 May 2026, approved a pro rata distribution of money the FCA recovered from Argento Wealth Limited. The distribution is open to eligible investors in the AWL Loan Scheme and to investors in the EMB Scheme where the investment was arranged by Argento Wealth Limited or its sub-distributors. To receive a payment, eligible investors must provide their bank account details by 1 August 2026. Payments will be made only to investors who meet the court judgment’s eligibility criteria and whose investment is known to the FCA by that deadline. The FCA will write to eligible investors named in Appendices 1 to 2 of the court order using the contact details it already holds, although those appendices have not been published for privacy reasons. Investors who have not previously been in contact with the FCA, or whose details have changed, need to contact the FCA by 1 August 2026. If the FCA does not have the required bank details, or is not aware of the investment by that date, no distribution payment will be made.
