The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) Board has approved the renewal of technical cooperation agreements with the Military Public Prosecutor’s Office (Ministério Público Militar, MPM) and the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office (Ministério Público Federal, MPF). The renewed partnership focuses on strengthening the sharing and exchange of technologies, knowledge and databases, including enabling CVM access to the Banking Movements Investigation System (SIMBA). The cooperation agreements between CVM, MPM and MPF will run for five years.
