The Austrian Financial Market Authority published its second-quarter Asset Management Report, showing that assets managed across 2,110 investment funds established by Austrian management companies and fund managers reached a record EUR 260.1 billion at the end of June. Assets rose 7.6% from the end of March and 12% from a year earlier, supported by stronger global financial markets, easing energy market pressures and improved investor sentiment. Austrian funds recorded total net inflows of EUR 628 million during the quarter. Bond funds attracted the largest inflows at EUR 1.05 billion, followed by equity funds at EUR 242 million. Mixed funds recorded EUR 301 million in net outflows, while real estate funds had EUR 346 million in outflows, continuing the trend of recent years.
