The Brazilian Pension Funds Authority (PREVIC) has revised and updated template clauses on automatic enrolment for inclusion in the regulations of pension benefit plans, incorporating enhancements introduced by National Complementary Pension Council Resolution No. 63/2025 for sponsored plans. The templates are non-mandatory and are intended as a reference for closed pension funds (EFPC) when drafting plan-specific provisions. PREVIC published two models: one for inserting automatic enrolment into plans that do not yet provide for it, and another for updating existing automatic-enrolment clauses to align with Resolution No. 63/2025, including adjustments to provide for a collective automatic enrolment process. The Licensing Directorate, via the General Coordination for Licensing of Benefit Plans, is available to provide guidance and clarifications.
