The Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority’s Insurance Commission published an opinion on postponing the repeal date of Article 23 of the Law of 21 November 1989 on compulsory civil liability insurance in respect of motor vehicles. The opinion (DOC/C2025/2) was issued on 2 June 2025 following a request from David Clarinval, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Employment, Economy and Agriculture, and is available in French and Dutch.
