The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) reported that Juma Mkomi, Permanent Secretary in the President’s Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance, visited TIRA’s stand at the 2025 Public Service Week exhibition in Dodoma and emphasised the need for government vehicles to be insured to reduce potential losses from accidents and other damage. During the visit at Chinangali Park, Mkomi also stressed diligence and accountability among public servants to improve professionalism and efficiency in the delivery of government work. TIRA noted it continues to advise the government to insure all official vehicles as part of public resource management and protection of public assets.
