Mexico’s National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services Users announced that the 19th National Financial Education Week will run from Oct. 15 to 18 at the Monument to the Revolution, alongside a virtual platform. The program will focus on translating financial knowledge into practical habits, including budgeting, managing income and assessing repayment capacity before taking out credit. The main venue will bring together more than 75 institutions across 102 service and exhibition spaces and offer 229 conferences structured around financial security, resilience, control and freedom. More than 24 participants will provide videos and multimedia resources through the virtual platform, which has a target reach of 1.2 million users. A parallel education initiative will deliver 857 conferences across 428 schools, while other activities will cover savings, investment, insurance, retirement planning and securities markets.
