The National Bank of Denmark has raised its current account, certificates of deposit, lending and discount rates by 0.25 percentage point, effective Sept. 11, 2026. The move follows an equivalent increase in the European Central Bank’s deposit facility rate and keeps Denmark’s monetary policy spread with the euro area unchanged. The current account, certificates of deposit and discount rates will rise to 2.10% a year, while the lending rate will increase to 2.25%.
