The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland appointed Courtney Falato as senior vice president of external engagement, effective June 23. Falato will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for external communications, education outreach, and community development across the Fourth Federal Reserve District. Falato joins from JPMorgan Chase, where she served as vice president and program officer of global philanthropy, leading community engagement strategies and cross-sector partnerships across Ohio and Kentucky and managing a USD 35 million philanthropic portfolio focused on housing, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and financial health. Her prior roles include director of Smart Cities at the Ohio State University, overseeing its participation in the USD 50 million US Department of Transportation-funded Smart Columbus initiative, along with leadership positions in the Dublin and Reynoldsburg City Schools and research roles at the American Institutes for Research and the University of Chicago.
