The Central Bank of Armenia has published a data template on international reserves and foreign currency liquidity prepared under the Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) to support assessment of the country’s foreign exchange position and liquidity. The template expands disclosure beyond reserve assets, covering the authorities’ foreign currency claims on and obligations to both residents and nonresidents, and presenting projected foreign exchange inflows and outflows over a future one-year period. It is based on on- and off-balance-sheet activities of the central bank and government external drains and is structured in four sections: foreign currency resources, predetermined drains, contingent drains, and memo items requiring supplementary information.
