The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) published an update on its participation in Money Expo 2025 Bangkok Year-End, using the event to promote insurance as a risk-management tool and to reinforce a focus on transparency, understanding and access to correct information as part of public protection. At the opening on 20 November 2025, Deputy Secretary-General Wasumdee Waseenon represented the OIC under an assignment from Secretary-General Chuachat Pramoolpol. The OIC’s booth operated under the theme “OIC Sustainable and Transparent Future – sustainable, resilient, transparent, integrated” and offered public-facing activities including expert advisory services on risk analysis, financial planning and suitable policy selection, interactive games and Q&A activities, and content produced with finance influencer “Warm & Pro” on coverage planning, exercising policyholder rights, tax deductions and practical insurance experiences. The OIC also encouraged consumers to review life and property protection toward year-end, including considering life insurance for tax deduction purposes.
