The Egmont Group published a readout of its Egmont Committee intersessional meeting in Krakow, where members advanced governance, strategic and operational priorities between plenary sessions. The main focus was implementation of the Egmont Group 2022 to 2027 Strategic Plan, work on future strategic planning, stronger governance and engagement across the network, and preparation for forthcoming institutional milestones including the 32nd Egmont Group Plenary. The Egmont Committee operates as a consultation and coordination forum for the Egmont Group’s heads of financial intelligence units and its working and regional groups. During the week, members also met the head of FIU Poland and representatives of the National Revenue Administration in Krakow, with preparations continuing toward the 32nd Plenary.
