The Vietnam State Securities Commission published an update on the Ministry of Finance’s digital transformation program, including completion of 131 of 149 assigned tasks, synchronization of 13 of 16 databases with the National Data Center and successful testing of all nine priority systems linked to the National Public Service Portal. The ministry is also developing six circulars and regulations covering financial data governance, shared electronic directories, online public services and national databases. Cybersecurity work includes inspections of Vietnam’s securities market information technology systems and assessments of ministry systems classified at security levels 3 and 4. All ministry information systems have approved security classifications, while application systems and databases are scheduled to migrate to National Data Center No. 1 during 2026-2027 and subsequently to centers No. 2 and No. 3 from 2028. The ministry has also reduced the number of administrative procedures in force to 688, down 313 from January 2025, and is developing a shared artificial intelligence platform.

Vietnam State Securities Commission reports progress on finance data integration, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure
The Vietnam State Securities Commission reported that the Ministry of Finance has synchronized 13 of 16 databases with the National Data Center and tested all nine priority systems connected to the National Public Service Portal. The ministry is strengthening cybersecurity oversight, developing six digital governance instruments and preparing to migrate systems and databases to national data centers from 2026.
