The Bermuda Ministry of Finance announced that local businesses can apply for vendor spaces at the Bermuda Digital Finance Forum: Digital Payments Workshop & Market, scheduled for May 14, 2026 at Pier 6. Bermudians can also apply for complimentary tickets that include up to $100 in digital assets to spend onsite, making the event both a beginner-focused introduction to digital assets and a live environment for local merchants to gain practical experience accepting digital payments. The workshop will run from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is intended as a beginner-friendly introduction to accessing and using digital assets. The market will follow from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with more than 500 attendees and over 30 local vendors expected. To prepare participating businesses, onboarding sessions will be held at the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation offices covering digital payment benefits, digital wallet setup, and operational support. The government linked the initiative to last year’s inaugural forum, which onboarded more than 400 residents through a community airdrop using Coinbase wallets and the USDC digital dollar. Complimentary government-supported tickets are limited and available while supplies last.
