The event highlighted sustainable finance and stronger mechanisms for managing climate risks as priorities for supporting economic and financial stability. Representatives of Amonatbank, Eskhata Bank, Tajikistan Investment and Credit Bank, Arvand Bank, Imon International and Humo presented ESG measures they have implemented and their plans in this area. The central bank also pointed to ongoing cooperation with international financial institutions on green initiatives and described the programme as a strategic tool to help banks adapt to climate-related challenges and strengthen climate risk management across Tajikistan’s financial sector.
