The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago announced its Global Money Week 2025 activities, including a youth learning expo delivered with industry stakeholders as part of its public education and outreach programme. The initiative is framed around the 2025 theme “Think Before You Follow; Wise Money for Tomorrow”, focusing on more mindful financial decision-making amid digital influences. The expo is expected to reach approximately 600 primary and secondary school students across Trinidad and Tobago, marking the Bank’s seventh year participating in Global Money Week as part of a campaign spanning over 100 countries. The programme aims to promote responsible money management, help students identify emotional triggers that influence spending, and encourage critical evaluation of information sources. Global Money Week 2025 runs from March 17 to 23, 2025. The Bank indicated it will publish highlights via its social media channels and acknowledged contributions from the Ministry of Education, participating schools, Roxborough Anglican Primary School, Servol and financial sector representatives.
