The Zimbabwe Insurance and Pensions Commission has launched a new monthly podcast series, IPEC Forum, positioned as a consumer education and awareness platform to improve public understanding of insurance and pensions matters and broaden engagement with policyholders, pension scheme members, industry participants and the general public. The programme is intended to provide an accessible channel for discussion of regulatory developments, consumer protection issues and emerging trends, with episodes featuring the Commissioner, IPEC technical experts and other stakeholders and presenting complex regulatory and technical topics in a simplified, conversational format. The inaugural episode, featuring Commissioner Dr Grace Muradzikwa, is scheduled to premiere on 27 February at 10:00 and covers the Commission’s regulatory priorities, ongoing reforms in the insurance and pensions sector, consumer protection and policyholder rights, and IPEC’s longer-term vision for the industry. IPEC Forum will be available via IPEC’s official digital platforms with monthly notifications for subscribers, and the Commission has invited feedback, topic suggestions and questions for future episodes.
