Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) published the capital adequacy index (ICAP) for the multiple banking sector as of end-July 2025. The ICAP, defined as net capital divided by total risk-weighted assets, stood at 20.24%. The basic capital ratio (Coeficiente de capital básico, CCB) was 18.14% and the core capital ratio (Coeficiente de capital fundamental, CCF) was 16.81%.
