The Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures (MONEYVAL), in partnership with the FATF Training Institute, completed a Standards Training Course hosted at the Guardia di Finanza Economic-Financial Police School in Ostia, Italy. The week-long course brought together 41 participants from FATF and MONEYVAL jurisdictions to strengthen knowledge on combatting money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing. The training was supported by the Italian authorities, and MONEYVAL indicated it will continue seeking cooperation with the FATF Training Institute to develop joint initiatives and expand opportunities for similar trainings for its member states.
