The Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS) announced it will run a second survey of manufacturing firms in Curaçao to track developments in production, employment, exports, investment and other business conditions, and to strengthen sectoral data used for economic analysis and forecasting. An online questionnaire, available in Papiamentu, Dutch and English, will ask firms for assessments of current performance, the general economic situation, and near-term expectations. The CBCS expects the survey to take around 10 minutes and said responses will be anonymous and confidential. The initiative follows the Bank’s first manufacturing survey in 2024 and sits alongside other industry-specific surveys, including the construction sector survey introduced earlier in 2025, with results feeding into the CBCS Economic Bulletin and supporting monetary, fiscal and wider economic policymaking. The survey link is due to be sent on 3 November 2025, with responses requested by 17 November 2025.
