The Australian Financial Complaints Authority has reinstated APT Strategy Pty Ltd’s membership for 12 months, allowing consumers to submit complaints about financial advice provided by the firm while its membership remains current. APT Strategy, which is in liquidation, advised on managed investment schemes offered by Australian Fiduciaries Limited, also in liquidation. The reinstatement follows the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s re-registration of APT Strategy on July 2, 2026, as directed by the Supreme Court of Queensland, and a request from the firm’s liquidator. Consumers with unpaid AFCA determinations may be eligible for payment through the Compensation Scheme of Last Resort. AFCA will contact consumers whose earlier complaints could not be considered because the firm had been deregistered to inform them that they may submit new complaints.
