The Bank of Greece reported that the nominal value of domestic private sector loans transferred to non-resident specialized financial institutions and serviced by domestic CSFs rose by EUR 59 million in the second quarter of 2026, reaching EUR 79.653 billion. Corporate loans increased by EUR 350 million to EUR 28.150 billion, almost entirely comprising loans to non-financial corporations, including EUR 9.817 billion to small and medium-sized enterprises. By contrast, loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships fell by EUR 105 million to EUR 9.988 billion, while loans to individuals and private nonprofit institutions declined by EUR 187 million to EUR 41.515 billion. The nominal values exclude off-balance-sheet interest and write-offs or write-downs made by the credit institutions that transferred the portfolios.
