The Mauritius Financial Services Commission issued a circular reminding all licensees and registered, authorised and approved persons required to pay annual fees that licence fees for the 2025/2026 renewal cycle are due by 1 July under the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) Rules. Fees are set out in the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) Rules 2008, as amended. From 2 June 2025, payments can be made via the FSC One Platform using Automatic Payment Instruction, including payments made by a licensee on behalf of its clients that are FSC licensees. Management companies with FSC deposit accounts can also pay from those accounts. If a licensee cannot renew through the platform by the due date, the FSC set out an alternative process using bank transfer with a corresponding submission of the relevant payment lists. Insurance companies were asked to bring the circular to the attention of their intermediaries, and the FSC referenced dedicated user support and an updated ticketing system on the platform. The online payment functionality is scheduled to be available from 2 June 2025, with all renewal fees due by 1 July.
