The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) published a statement welcoming the Financial Secretary’s re-appointment of Mr Johnson Kong and Mr Dieter Yih as Non-Executive Directors for a further two-year term commencing on 15 November 2025. SFC Chairman Dr Kelvin Wong highlighted that both directors will continue to contribute to the Board and support the SFC in achieving its core regulatory objectives, including safeguarding market integrity, protecting investors’ interests, upholding market quality and ensuring sound governance across Hong Kong’s capital markets. Mr Kong and Mr Yih were first appointed on 15 November 2021, and their current appointment ends on 14 November 2025.
