Topics covered the institutional and legal framework for improving public procurement, the introduction of green procurement criteria, development of a national eco-label system, and the use of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, to increase transparency and efficiency in procurement processes. Conference presentations also highlighted that digital transformation can reduce risks linked to the human factor, curb corruption risks and broaden real-time monitoring, while environmentally based procurement criteria can support both environmental protection and long-term economic efficiency.
