The Bank of the Lao PDR participated in the 2025 Youth Festival and staged an exhibition presenting its work, with a focus on banking-sector rules, recognising Lao kip banknotes and information on the foreign exchange market. The display ran from 25 to 29 June 2025 at Lao-ITECC as part of an event organised by the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union. Materials covered banking-related laws, decrees and other legal instruments, leaflets on how to check kip banknotes, guidance on implementing an agreement on banknote management in circulation, and promotional content introducing the foreign currency exchange market and other products, alongside Q&A activities with prizes.
