The Brazil Securities Commission has announced an administrative reorganization and leadership renewal effective June 25, 2026, naming new leaders for a broad set of internal superintendencies and advisory functions. The changes cover institutional development and modernization, administrative and financial management, intelligence development, planning and innovation, people management, information technology, economic analysis and risk and integrity, the chair’s office and communications. The named officials are José Alexandre Cavalcanti Vasco for the Seccional Superintendency for Development and Institutional Modernization, Guilherme Neves Pozzobon for the Administrative and Financial Superintendency, Frederico Shu for the Intelligence Development Superintendency, Jorge Alexandre Casara for the Planning and Innovation Superintendency, Andréa Coelho Baptista for the People Management Superintendency, Gustavo Gori Maia for the Information Technology Superintendency, Florisvaldo Justino Machado Gonçalves for the Advisory Office for Economic Analysis, Risk Management and Integrity, Tomás Fernandes for the Chair’s Office and Daniela Regina de Amorim for Social Communications. The General Superintendency remains open for now, with General Processes Manager Maria Lúcia Macieira serving as acting General Superintendent until a permanent appointee is defined. The commission said the appointment of the new General Superintendent will follow the applicable procedures and falls under the authority of the Chief of Staff’s Office of the Presidency under Decree 9.794/2019.
