The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has launched a trial phase of its new e-services portal, eSAMA, allowing individuals, government entities, and businesses to access SAMA services electronically via a unified digital platform. The portal is intended to automate service delivery and provide a digital alternative to traditional transaction methods, with faster processing, easier access, and enhanced data protection. The trial phase includes 23 services, such as enabling personal data subject rights requests, applications to join the Regulatory Sandbox, requests for access to Open Banking services, and submission of no-objection requests for senior leadership appointments. SAMA indicated that additional services will be added to eSAMA after the trial phase.
