Mexico’s National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF) published the third-quarter 2025 results of its User Service Performance Index (IDATU) for Sociedades Financieras de Objeto Múltiple, Entidad No Regulada (SOFOMES ENR), showing the sector’s score held at 9.4 out of 10 compared with the second quarter of 2025. The IDATU is used to assess how effectively financial institutions respond to customer complaints when CONDUSEF intervenes through its defence procedures. The index evaluates response times and how complaints are handled, as well as improvement actions aimed at ensuring substantive equality in the provision of financial products and services, including for vulnerable groups such as older adults. The highest-scoring firms were Pretmex, Consede Consultores y Servicios and Interdns (9.96), followed by Publiseg (9.95), Consultores de Servicios Varios (9.93) and Kueski (9.92), while the lowest scores were recorded by Prestaciones Finmart (7.17), HXTI (7.5) and Acsein (7.58). CONDUSEF positioned the IDATU as a transparency tool and encouraged users to review SOFOMES ENR performance before contracting and to exercise their rights where service is inadequate.
