Private sector formal jobs rose 5.9% year on year, with the largest net job creation recorded in agriculture (86,000), services (72,000) and commerce (27,000). Based on electronic payroll data, private formal employment reached 4.410 million jobs versus 4.166 million a year earlier, with additional gains across fishing (2,000), mining (7,000), manufacturing (10,000), electricity (1,000) and construction (16,000).
