The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic published an event update on the 16th meeting of the Consultative Council on Consumer Protection of Financial Services and Financial Inclusion, held in Cholpon-Ata on 4 and 5 June 2026 under the chairmanship of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. Participants exchanged information on key achievements in financial consumer protection, financial literacy and broader financial inclusion. The update says the council’s regular exchange of experience is used to share best practices, present members’ results and refine approaches to current issues based on accumulated international experience. The council was established in 2015 and serves as a coordinating and advisory body of the Eurasian Council of Central National Banks.
