The Bank of Zambia’s Registrar of Financial Service Providers cancelled the bureau de change licence of DonChi Bureau de Change Limited, citing failure to comply with the Banking and Financial Services Act, 2017 and the Banking and Financial Services (Bureau de Change) Regulations, 2003. As a result, DonChi Bureau de Change Limited has ceased to operate as a bureau de change with effect from 12 December 2025. The licence cancellation does not remove any obligations the firm incurred or assumed while the licence was valid.

Bank of Zambia cancels DonChi Bureau de Change Limited’s bureau de change licence for regulatory non-compliance
The Bank of Zambia's Registrar of Financial Service Providers revoked the bureau de change licence of DonChi Bureau de Change Limited for non-compliance with the Banking and Financial Services Act, 2017 and related regulations. Consequently, DonChi has ceased operations as of 12 December 2025. The cancellation does not absolve the firm of any prior obligations.
