National Credit Union Administration Chairman Kyle S. Hauptman has appointed Sarah Bang as the agency’s Chief of Staff and Senior Policy Advisor, following her service as his Senior Policy Advisor since December 2020. Bang has nearly 40 years of credit union industry experience, including as Executive Vice President of Industry Relations at CO-OP Financial Services and as President and CEO of Financial Service Centers Cooperative Inc., where a shared branching and payments network grew to over 3,300 branches and 2,200 full service kiosks. Her background also includes managing credit union service organizations and related operations spanning shared branching and ATM networks, item processing, insurance, mortgage processing, call centers, and auditing.
