The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority announced that its Information Technology department has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the global standard for Information Security Management Systems. Certification followed a rigorous external audit that was completed with zero non-conformities, indicating alignment of the authority’s security processes with international best practice. The QFCRA’s CFO and COO, Fatma Abdulrahman Al Meer, described the certification as a milestone for operational excellence, data protection, cybersecurity and risk management, and highlighted its role in supporting governance and compliance with global standards.
