The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council has reselected Greg Gonzales, Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions, to its State Liaison Committee for a two-year term running from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2028. The appointment gives Gonzales a second consecutive two-year term on the five-member committee that represents state banking and credit union supervisors within the FFIEC. Gonzales previously served on the State Liaison Committee as the Conference of State Bank Supervisors-designated member from 2016 to 2021 and was the committee’s chair from 2017 to 2021. The current committee is chaired by Charles G. Cooper of the Texas Department of Banking and also includes Katherine M.R. Bosken of the North Carolina Office of the Commissioner of Banks, Polly Klyce Pennoyer of the New York State Department of Financial Services, and Aaron Luetzow of the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services. Under the FFIEC structure, the State Liaison Committee consists of five representatives of state banking and credit union agencies, and its chair is one of the council’s six voting members.

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council has reselected Greg Gonzales, Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions, to its five-member State Liaison Committee for a second consecutive two-year term from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2028. The committee, representing state banking and credit union supervisors and whose chair is one of the council’s six voting members, is currently chaired by Charles G. Cooper and also includes Katherine M.R. Bosken, Polly Klyce Pennoyer, and Aaron Luetzow.
