The State Bank of Vietnam reported that 113 delegates from its Party Committee, internal units and inspection and supervision functions took part in a hybrid conference organised by the Central Inspection Commission on updated legal rules and professional training for Party inspection and supervision work. The event was presented as a way for banking sector oversight staff to refresh legal knowledge, strengthen professional skills and improve their use of digital tools in carrying out inspection and supervision across the central bank system. The conference linked more than 3,000 sites nationwide and the programme covered six themes. These included new legal requirements for organisation and personnel, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, public budget and finance management, public assets, public investment and procurement, land and natural resource management, oversight of key Central resolutions, and software being deployed in the Party inspection sector. In opening remarks, Central Inspection Commission Vice Chairman Nghiem Xuan Thanh said inspection staff need stronger legal foundations, deeper specialist expertise and working methods that are closely aligned with practical supervisory issues.
