The Argentina Securities Commission took part in another edition of the Capitalization Round organized by Junior Achievement Argentina at the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange, as part of the regulator’s financial education program. The event brought together secondary school students aged 15 to 18, who presented entrepreneurial projects to build financial skills, seek symbolic capital for their initiatives and gain exposure to how market-based financing works. During the event, students set up investment fair-style stands and discussed their business models with adults acting as investors, while symbolically issuing shares in their companies to raise initial capital. The program also included a panel on entrepreneurial challenges and lessons, and the Commission was represented by Vice President Sonia Salvatierra as well as officials responsible for corporate governance, investor protection and financial education. The Commission said the event forms part of its broader financial education work, which also includes youth-focused audiovisual content, sessions with secondary school students and participation in World Investor Week.
