The Bank of Italy has released seven new Working Papers (Nos. 1503–1509) alongside the November 2025 edition of its economic research Newsletter (No. 80). The Working Papers cover household borrowing and monetary policy transmission using post-pandemic evidence from nine European credit registers; firm-level evidence on working from home and labour productivity; the link between inflation expectations and price-setting decisions in the housing market; the economic activity and housing market effects of the 2023 Emilia-Romagna floods; the impact of excellence funding on outcomes in Italian university departments; how EU views shaped household investment behaviour around the Brexit referendum; and long-run effects of place-based industrial policies on local agglomeration, employment, and wages.
