The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a closing ceremony at ADA University for the latest cohorts of its Leadership Competencies Training Programme for senior staff, delivered under the central bank’s cooperation with the university. Certificates were awarded to participants, and the programme was positioned as part of the central bank’s long-term and systematic human capital strategy for developing its leadership team. The nine-module course is intended to strengthen leadership potential and further develop professional skills through interactive training aligned with contemporary trends and delivered by professional trainers. The central bank highlighted priorities including applying new knowledge in day-to-day management, reinforcing leadership behaviours and building a unified management approach, with a focus on responsible decision-making, collaboration, ethical conduct and sustainable development principles. The programme has been running since September of the previous year and has involved 164 managers in total, following an earlier certificate-awarding ceremony in June for 114 managers from previous cohorts.
