The Central Bank of Paraguay, through its Securities Superintendency, has expanded the scope of the Agent Registration Tool, or HRA, so that from March 6, 2025, registrations of debt securities issued under the Global Issuance Program, bonds of financial entities and subordinated bonds of financial entities must be submitted exclusively through the digital platform. The change extends a system that was already being used for the registration of securities advisers, securities market operators and issuing companies. The bank said the broader rollout is intended to streamline registration processes and reduce processing times, while leaving existing regulatory requirements unchanged.
